Commercial White Boys are scooping them up as well, seen it first hand.

The stupidity has to end, otherwise we will be singing the east coast blues!

As there is a shortage of Chinook these days too, the natives should be harvesting the pinks as the alternative instead of the prize chinooks. Perhaps, the govt could hire the seiners in the ocean to scoop a few million pinks for the natives and hire a bunch of fish plants to process them and truckers to deliver them. Then th natives could continue selling fish at a huge profit.

Go look at the nets in the river, no wonder there's no sockeye making it up. Gill nets need to be banned in the river systems as well as the mouth. It's beyond stupid.
