Lake Trouts Lakes?

Hey I am located around Rimbey Alberta.

I was curious if any1 knows of some nice lakes I could go for lake trout? I don't mind driving a couple hours.
I currently have only fished for lakers in northern sask and nothing in Alberta.

Yeah I was looking into that lake a while back, it seems like even the slightest breeze makes it a **** show to get around on a boat.

A slight breeze is fine. The problem with Abraham is that a slight breeze is rare lol.

don't go to minnewanka or spray on a boat, you'll have fun with five foot waves if u do
