After seeing the pics of twisted canucks new python i thought "my god i hope he has it insured" just wondering if you guys have each firearm insured with your insurance agent or how it works. I have told my insurance agent that i have firearms but have no idea what they would pay in case of fire, flood or theft.

Yes, I am insured for sure. With my collection, it is only smart (I also have a big ass fire resistant safe, monitored security system, and two very loud dogs). I also have a rider for original art work on my policy. There are different approaches on it, best to talk to your broker. Some items need to be listed with value and appraisal on separate riders, some will fall under your contents portion of your policy without being specifically named, depending on your policy and coverage.
