She goes to get a few groceries and brings this home, she said you want to fillet it .... looked at the price .... had to reflect back for a second, all the costs invested, time & effort and they sell them for $3.00. Plan to bake it on the BBQ.

IMO, nothing replaces the excitement of getting out on first ice to stare down a hole and watching a big Whitie inhale your custom W/W creation.

PS ... all my Photobucket pic's are gone, not prepared to pay them the $399. ransom to keep my account open ... switched over to Flickr.com

Can I borrow her time machine?

RavYak ... I too, was a bit surprised with the price .... you know "too good to be true"!

As well, someone already gut/gill cleaned it & there's no limit of 5 at the grocery store.

I can't eat fish due to allergies, hope she enjoys it.

Ive tried 2 from superstore (assume thats where she got it too) and the flesh has been so mushy that it was almost inedible, and next to impossible to fillet without mutilating it..... smoking it really firmed the flesh up but maybe i just got a couple of old ones.

They might be worth smoking.

It says product of Canada , but where is it processed? No best before date?

Looks like no frills. Good deal.

Zip, good to hear from you.
If my wife brought that home I think I would be "don't you trust me to catch them…” :)

Photobucket…yeah. I stopped using it. You can also look at PostImage.org if Flickr doesn’t work out.

Cheers!
