Freshwater shrimp LOVE brown neoprene waders! I had to brush thousands of them off my waders at Bruce Lake. BTW, lots of winterkill at Bruce; not completely dead, but lots of dead pike around the shore.

I cruised out to Bruce last night, and I also seen lots of dead pike on the shore. I wasnt fishin though, just drove by to check it out.

We fished the first lake,got skunked;didn't fish too long,saw one follow.
Talked to a guy flyfishing the middle lake,he was getting nada,as well.:(

Fished Bruce Lake on Sunday and it was terrible. Stayed 3 hours managed one fish and missed 2 others but I wondered what was up. It makes sense about the winter kill. Normally a great spot to get out for a little fly fishing for pike but I guess not for a couple of years. I fished both lakes with the sma success.
