This has to be the third or fourth time I've taken my Mom fishing with the goal of getting her on her first Walleye.

But this time we finally succeeded!!!

This was the busiest and roughest Sylvan Lake has been for me this year. But after a little searching we managed to find the depth the Walleye were at and then the real fun began!

This brings back such great memories of fishing with my Mom back in the '70's on Sir Winston Churchill beach on Lac La Biche.

When my Mom caught a fish....she wouldn't real in!!!!

Instead, she would just run inshore... screaming, dragging the fish along the beach.

Not a good technique for C&R. :-)

But at least she skinned and scaled the fish at the same time.

Thanks for another great video Timid....keep 'em coming.
