is the bow in calgary open?
I see in the regs it says closed in some sections but the regs arnt the easiest to read. I would like to try fishing with the brother this weekend for a day and cant go to far.
any suggestions.

certain sections are ,you have to read the fine print on that. I am pretty sure its closed in the Bearspaw section, thats bearspaw dam to the weir . below the weir is open

marlin1 is right, the river is open below the WHD weir to the Carseland weir. Anove the WHD weir and below the Carseland weir are both closed until May 31. The limit is 1 trout under 35 cm, and 5 whitefish over 30 cm. The info you seek is on page 28 of the 2009 regs.
