Hasse Lake

So has anyone had success on Hasse Lake recently? I was out there for an hour this evening with nary a bite. However, I did see an osprey catch two fish (perch, I think)...

I also noticed that the gate arms are gone and the cash box thing is all boarded up. It looks like you don't have to pay to get in anymore (I don't know how long it's been like this...)

Also, is the water normally that murky?
