Hey guys, I purchased a 9.9 Pro Kicker for my 1800 Superhawk. It is rigged up with a linkage rod from my 150 Opti-max to the kicker & run from the helm. Took the boat out to Lake Newell yesterday was was not really impressed with this setup. Steering kinda limited, especially to the left. Hard to do any sharp turns at all. Have any of you guys used a remote steering system for your kickers? Have done some internet searchs and come up with only 1 system so far. Just wondering what some of you use, and if you like it or not?

I have the Linkage system as well, was cheap, but not the best. I was looking at a remote steering syetem they had at Explorer Industries. Looks like it might be the ticket. Has a toggle switch (wireless remote option), and can go side to side in something like 4 seconds. Might have to suck it up and spend the $500.
