Kingsman 2 was ok, American Assassin was so boring we almost walked out half way through. I went to Spiderman homecoming with my cousin a couple weeks ago, sure wasn't the best in the latest series. (Iron man/Thor/Avengers)

Theatre's have been out for awhile now..Hollywood's gone nuts,
just makes remakes and cannot even craft together any good
movies no longer.

Saw "IT" the other day in theatres... not the best horror flick I've seen. Had some "scary" parts and good acting but definitely lacked a good story line.

Do they still make good movies?

Last movie I saw in a theatre was Clint Eastwood's "Unforgiven" back in 1992.

Not sure if it's still in the theatre, The Hitmans Bodyguard was a good one that we saw about a month ago!

I prefer to go on Utube and get more enjoyment from watching Big Daddy Hoffman rather than to watch the pathetic movies.

Movies are great when there is a story and they have the ability to convey emotion.

These days the writers and producers are just plain terrible in Hollywood.
Best movies are from Europe and International.
Only problem is you gotta read subtitles.

"Boby Driver' was original, and entertaining.
It was kind of a musical, with no singing and a action movie.

I am eagerly awaiting BLADERUNNER 2049, which will be in theaters this week. I loved the original BLADERUNNER with Harrison Ford and have watched it many times on home video. Hopefully, not a disappointment...

Other movies I have seen this year in theaters;

Star Wars Rogue 1- liked it a lot

Guardians or the Galaxy Volume 2- liked it a lot

Dunkirk- liked it

Alien Covenant- a mild disappointment as I loved some earlier versions of the Alien franchise

The Mummy- liked it

Wonder Woman- liked it

Dark tower / gunslinger was pretty good

Didn't watch in theaters but Guardians of the galaxy 2 was a dissapointment aside from comedy too cartoony and silly

War for the Planet of the Apes
It was 2 1/2hrs long
A big change from the series I watched as a kid let alone the original with Charlton Heston
I give it 8/10
