Swapped over the winter tires today. Put the snowbrush back in the vehicle. Dragged out the bucket of ice melt to the front steps and pulled a snow shovel from storage to the front door.
Grabbed some winter gloves and stuffed them in my jacket for the morning

Pulled a moose Roast for stew tomorrow.

My Blackcurrant Port from last November is ready for bottling

Storm has not yet arrived in the Hat, hopefully soon, we really need the moisture.

Moisture is good, but I don't think you want it all at once. Hope you get a nice snowfall or some rain.

Right now, we'll take anything.

5-10 cm for Claresholm. Ground is warm. It won't last long. Maybe they'll cancel the fire ban?

Sweet. Keep that stuff away from Edmonton, though. You southern Albertans can have it all, lol.

Do you understand we need moisture down South here? Does not matter what form it comes in...:snapoutofit:

This should get things wet enough to remove the fire threat, hopefully it is enough to put some raise water levels in the rivers and reservoirs

We'll take moisture in any form east of Edm but would prefer a nice rain. Too bad it couldn't wait until crops are all off. 11:00pm and the drizzle is getting a bit flakey.

The commute into downtown was faster than normal. Streets just wet-Skiff of snow on lawns

I love winter. My favorite part is waking up in the morning when it's freezing cold and scraping the ice off my truck. Sometimes I am so lucky and I get to do it multiple times a day.

Been watching the forest smoulder from my house since sept 12 , this truly is a blessing. People in SW Alberta will be able to breath easier now. .

Same here it’s inevitably coming so might as well be prepared instead of living in denial until it’s too late. Now I just have to finish splitting my firewood this week.

The snow is no big deal, but the wind is certainly not pleasant this morning.
