Hunting the states

Hunting in Montana or the states for that matter for archery is there anything I should know what I can bring and not bring?
Spotting scopes, range finders?

If your in Montana you can't have lighted sights. Other than that your good. My son and I drove down there early September for an Elk hunt. I had the truck loaded with gear. No trouble at all.

Where you thinking of hunting in Montana? You can use lighted knocks now after this last legislative session. Hell if you buy a can you can even hunt with one of those.
