Well, not giving a lot of creedence to late day goose hunts. Only had two small flocks come in, then two damn coyotes come roaring out of the bush. :angry3: that pretty much killed the night as they just wouldnt leave or get close enough to put em down effectively. One of them even tore the head off a shell, luckily he dropped it not far off. Good decoys I guess?

On tbe plus side, a buddy of mine got his first goose and she was big, so thats a positive, plus was a beautiful night to be out.

I always pack a couple slugs and a couple buckshot. Just in case...

Sting em An wing em.how many fawns I've seen running over the yrs with mom and their calf muscles flopping off their back legs..

Almost grabbed some slugs the other day, but thought "when the hell will I use them?" :thinking-006:

Back at it tomorrow morning, get some more birds for my buddy.
