I once knew a old grandma who carried a claw hammer and a pack of nails when she took her granddaughter to the playground "in case she found something that needed repair, like a good community member". Yeah, right. The nails were just a "red herring". SMART WOMAN. She gave me an idea.

When I take my 2-year-old granddaughter out I carry a roll of loonies in a front pocket; and a large pair of needle-nose pliers in one ass pocket, and a 6" Phillips screwdriver in the other ass pocket.

If anyone makes any accusations that they're "weapons", the onus of proof is on them.

The opod crisis is affecting more than just the druggies. It's utterly horrible that someone would attack a child, even if a person was on some mind-altering drug I don't have it in me to forgive or excuse such an action. They should be provided with the means to kill themself when they sober up, make sure they have a belt and extra strong shoelaces and a really sturdy hook in their holding cell.

I hope this goes through the court system and they make an example of this guy. Good work CPS

Thats why I keep a Louisville Slugger a glove and a ball behind the front door.
One never knows when someone wants to play ball.
Speedy recovery to the young lad.
