Elk calling up north

Heading up north of Peace River in two weekends. I'm wondering if the Bulls will still be responding to cow calls at that time. Any thoughts or ideas are much appreciated.

I am trying to hunt elk the first time this year too!

I've read that they still respond to some lost cow calls but not sure if you could call them in like archery season.

Any more clarity would be great

in 2 weekends? i would assume no, might get a satellite to respond to a lost cow. suppose to snow tonight so i would say in 2 weeks that you concentrate on where they are feeding rather than trying to call them in. don't leave your calls at home can't hurt to try

If you happen to get an answer would move in on them pretty quick cow calling all the way.
