Petitions are useless, and this has been an issue for a long time.
Not a fan of seal meat personally, it's edible rare to mid rare but I still prefer an Alberta Angus T-bone. Some people need to visit a slaughter house, get some reality.

Yes, a lot of people have no idea where food comes from. Lots looking to get butt hurt at the drop of a hat as well. We as a society have to much time on our hands. If we put more effort into surviving we'd have less time looking for excuses to be offended.

I refuse to sign either. The counter petition complains about "colonialism" and "Anti-indigenous behavior" on the part of the first petition urging that seal meat be banned. I support eating seal meat because it's still a semi-free country and ANYONE should be able to eat anything they want, not because of any stand against colonialism. A pox on both their "victimized" houses.

The love affair some people have with these absolutely useless media petitions is almost disturbing :sad0020:

Petards fighting more equals....love it :sHa_shakeshout: Hope for some deep financial and social damage to both sides.
Not signing or supporting either, as both would eliminate licensed hunting if they could.
