Stubby Antenna from Amazon

Hey Folks

Anyone installed the Stubby Antenna from Amazon on their vehicle. Claims to work perfectly with Sat. radio etc.

I hate the Antenna banging off the parkade at work.

I am curious as to what rating you would give this product.

I looked at reviews of them on an F150 forum, most say you loose some reception, The 50 Cal stubby would look sharp though, They just screw on so removal by others could be an issue.

I have the stubby antenna on my Jeep and it greatly effects the signal . I loose stations in Edmonton just east of Beaumont . I listen to hard drive most of the time so it doesn't really bother me .

Don’t know if something like this would work for you, but I just ordered an antenna cover from http://visualgarage.com

Couldn't be happier with it. Looks sharp and haven't lost reception on am/fm or Sirius.
