Just curious do taxidermists use fixed size forms for birds and are they all full grown size forms?
I came across a horned owl I'd like to get done but if it's a rediculous amount to get forms modded I wonder if it's worth it. The birds size I'd hazard 2/3 grown.
Who around the Olds, Sundre or Cochrane area is worth going to for birds?

Thanks

The taxidermist will find the closest size then enlarge or reduce as required.

He's doing small animals and birds. No more big game stuff.

Okay thank you
Turns out it's a long eared not great horned.
So by the book it appears full grown after all

Thanks Canuck
I drive past him daily and will be dropping by. Been a long time but I recall very nice work done there.

Ask him to show you his replica of the B&C #1 bighorn ram - amazing!
