Cold Lake May Long

Hey guys new to this forum show me some magic. I have never been to Cold lake before and I was wondering if anyone knows if the ice has gone down yet or not? Also if anyone knows a way of reaching any of the campgrounds to reserve a site or if one can be recommended? You think a 15 foot ol tin master would be good enough for lakers? Please any info would of great value :)

cold lake is going to have ice on it till mid June this year I bet.

Was at the launch yesterday, still a good 2 weeks of ice out there, the bay at the provincial park was open up 100 yards or so, will be a while yet.Provincial park was closed except F loop for winter camping, should open up completely this weekend.See all kinds of Rvs up here, have no idea where they are camping, most seemed to be at Walmart in the parking lot
