Need some whitetail tips

Hey guys. I'm Hunting my uncles piece of farm land. There's a patch of trees on the land which a lot of deer pass through. My trail cam got some pics of some really really big bucks nice mature bucks. Been out in my blind the past few days and nothing. Did some scouting today and using my spotting scope I noticed 3 bucks in the trees the next county road over. Thinking it's the same deer that pass through every so often. Anything I can do to keep them hanging out where I'm set up? Lures? Feed?

Don't take this wrong, but what you need is patience.

Sit tight and hide your time, they will be back.

Sit in that blind about 20 times and you may get a shot

The weather is fine and the deer arent horny.

Wait for the rut when they are stupid and looking for food. Better luck.

I don't have any faith in scents drawing them in but I know that rattling and grunting will sometimes.

are your trail cam pics during the day? If its not during the rut and I decide to sit for whiteys I try to be settled in an hour before legal shooting light, or an hour or two before sunset. Patience Patience. During the rut they will move around more.

All the pics of the few different bucks been at the 5pm mark. Been trying to find out who owns the other land but no luck yet. I'm new to bow hunting, hunting in a blind or tree stand is new to me. I will definitely be Patient and keep trying, and it makes total sense that they will be more on the move come rut time. Would throwing a decoy up help any? Or would it be pointless till the rut. I appreciate all the help. Cheers!!!

If it's a big buck, I'd advise not hunting the area until the rut. You don't have time to do any sort of habitat improvements so the best thing you could do to keep them in your area is to stay out of it yourself until the rut has them preoccupied. You can hang a few scent pads with some estrus urine on them in front of your set up but again, I wouldn't bother with that until the rut.

what you need to do is figure out their travel routs. This way you know were they are coming from and going. You could be set up were they will smell you. I would site and watch the field from a distance and watch were they come from then make a game plan on were to set up.

Found out who owns the land today. Hopefully get some permission. Makes a lot of sense waiting for the rut. I do know where they travel back n fourth. I'm set up by some what I believe is fresh scrapes and beaten paths and beds.

If u put pressure on their bedding areas u will drive them out, to neighbors. Bow hunting is all about patience and learning from many mistakes.

Can't fee'em but you can make a few mock scrapes and put doe urine in or around those areas, also set up a doe decoy close to,your stand, light rattle, grunt...sooner or later the buggers will venture over just gotta be there.

You should try a drag cloth, I have had many bucks cross my path and nose to the ground follow it in....tie a cloth around your ankle, pour doe urine on it, walk around and into your area, leave it in the ground where you can take a shot, be it rifle or bow...have had them come right into the rag and stand there, mid October right through November.

What 58thecat says.....I have had this work several times also. It is especially useful in cut lines where the deer cross the cut lines it will cause them to pause and sniff buying you some time for a shot or determine whether it's a shooter or not. I have had coyotes follow the drag also. I use paracord and fray the few inches at the end and tie it around my ankle.
