Hi all,

Was wondering what people thought about this situation; Living outside Cowtown but owning a property in the city, paying property tax and also working in the city but not eligible to Vote for some kind of say. What do you think about that.

You don’t live here, I don’t think you should have a say. My parents have a permanent trailer spot in Sundre. They own the land, pay property taxes, but live in Calgary. Why should they be allowed to vote in a place they don’t live when they can already vote where they do live?

I think you should be able to vote where you reside, or own real property.

You think about it, you are impacted by decisions / costs made on those lands by the local authority.

If I have two houses, do I get two votes?
