fishing chip lake ????

any tips or good spots to fish ???not the best luck there lately

ive been going there for may long last 2 yrs and havent had much luck it opens may 15th just wondering if anybody has ant tips or spots for this time of yr

if your in a boat....near the mouth of the river...carefull the river is closed to fishing and so is the immediate mouth of it...but if u head almost straight east from the mouth the water will drop down to about 6-8 feet... there is a nice little shelf in there and its usually great for pike....then if u carry on eastward the water gets as deep as 10 ft max i beleive and in there the perch are usually schooled up....happy fishin

also buy doubles or even triples of ur fav hooks lol....it is very very weedy
