Ice Situation Around Athabasca???

Anyone know how the ice in the area is, heading up to Forefar for the long weekend was thinking of making a day trip to Calling or Fawcett and dont have a auger big enough to make a hole for the boat???:lol:

There was just a couple threads on these lake's in the past couple day's. Fawcett is ice free, and if i remember correctly calling was not

Calling should be in the next day or 2. Was by there yesterday and was 50-60% open.
