Dry shower ideas for November dry camping/hunting?

Wondering what everyone does to keep clean when dry camping.

Yup. That's the way it's been done for the last 300 years. Keep a pot over the fire or stove. Lots of old coal and wood stoves even had a copper reservoir attached on the side for that purpose.

Then do a sponge bath like they used to have in hospitals.

Nothin like a hot shower though....
Ice fishin tent we have have used before for this, works good.

As calgarychef said but it is always good etiquette to use the dish cloth and dish pan or vice versa

Big pot of water, little soap, keep the fire rockin in the wall tent and wash fast outside before running back in!

Every night I am out take the time to do a little wash-up, part of the routine now!

I have a compact shower bag I take on all my hunts..........can be a bit chilly standing in the snow showering but it sure feels good after !!!
Of course we heat the water first............not that tough lol

I did some hunting based out of a boat on salt water, we'd hike inland every day. No baths in the ocean for me, I never feel clean. I had two 1L. Nalgene bottles for my drinking water and at the end of the day I'd stop and fill them In a pond. Back on the boat I could completely wash up and have a nice hair wash with 1 litre of water. The second one just felt nice pouring over my head, really didn't need it.

I am assuming that the OP is going back country DIY or something like that...if you've got your truck, then what these other guys are saying is the way to go! If you brought everything in on your back (and you don't have one of those crazy light weight tipi tent stoves) then wet wipes are definitely the way to go.

Get the scentless ones obviously, and then you can dry them out well before you go...that way they don't freeze (and they are lighter to carry and pack!). When you are ready to use them you just use some drinking/cooking water to wet them again..voila, nice and clean!

If they can't figure which part to wash first than let them stink ,it's the same routine as home.

I'm happy to see that you still have that camper. I worried that night you left my place in Cochrane that it might blow or bounce off the back of your truck.

Keep in mind that they will freeze.
yep....don't leave the wet wipes out at the crapper.
Big pot of water on the stove 24/7 is nice but baby wipes are convenient.
