Always get pictures of moose and deer but this time checking my cams tonight and saw this big white butt. In 248 pretty close to black foot. Same area I shot 2 moose over the past 6 years. And 40 min after that a hunter walked right by the camera.

You never know what's out there until you check your cams, I look forward to the time downloading the pics!

X2. I don't wait to download. You can buy a nice used camera for about 20 bucks at a pawnshop that takes the same memory cards. That way you can see right away if there are any issues with your camera or if any adjustments need to be made.

They have adapters you can connect to your phone and look at the pictures from your SD card. Pretty nifty.

I got one of these. You can plug into most phones, computers and tablets right at your camera:happy0034:

Ok a light brown butt. Was seeing nothing but moose on my cams. Bulls and cows so that light brown stood out. The big thing was being so close to Edmonton and seeing a wild or escaped elk.

Seems like more and more animals are moving into places they normally haven't occupied before.

Kinda like prairie goats in Vegreville.

I bring my iPad out...get it all downloaded in the field...then decide where to sit based on gathered data...hi tech redneck eh!
Oh then I use my 96 year old Remington model 14 so I even the odds out...

Pretty cool to see!

We've been encountering elk sign in new places as well.
