I'm wanting to take some friends out this long weekend for some lakeside camping and walleye / pike fishing. We will be going without a boat, and since I usually fish the reservoirs with a boat, i'm not sure which waters would be good for lakeside camping / shore fishing / bottom bouncing for Wally's, etc.
I was at the Badger Lake canal for opening day and managed to get some decent sharks, but didnt stick around long enough for the Walleye bite ( my friend caught an 11 pounder at around midnight).
Can anyone suggest a campsite / lake, with Walleye being the primary target?
