Was going by Pigeon today, the wind has blown off the lake ice, whitecaps everywhere.

amazing! I posted pics from yesterday afternoon and the lake was still covered in ice, guess that wind was really hammering today

Nice thanks for the heads up may have to drive up from Sylvan on the long weekend and fill a couple of my tags. Tight lines this weekend everyone.

^Yep we are putting our docks in on Saturday along with our lift...

Just cant wait to freeze my @ss off!!!

it's call for 20mm of rain on Sunday and rain and snow on Monday as of May 13, hopefully it will change and be half decent.

Was at Fish and wildlife today on 50 st dropping off my sheep head and notice a sighen on the wall saying pigeon like does not open until after may 18 for fishing.

My walleye tags said "May 15-Mar 31" and so did the draw info online??:confused:

This is what the regs say
Pigeon Lake & tributaries (excluding Tide Creek) & outlet –
Walleye limit 0 – except that the holder of a Special Fish Harvest
Licence and tags for this lake may retain during the dates specified,
the number and size of walleye specified on the tag; Pike limit 1 over
63 cm; Perch limit 5 over 25 cm; Lake Whitefish limit 10; Burbot limit 3
(Burbot limit 0 Feb. 1 to Mar. 31).
�� the portion of lake west of a line drawn from the
northwesternmost tip of the point in 13-12-47-2-W5 due north to
the point where the line intersects the
shoreline of the lake in 13-47-2-W5, locally
known as Zeiner Park and including TIDE
CREEK.
�� CLOSED all year.
�� the outlet, the portion located in 1,2,11-46-28-W4
�� CLOSED Apr. 1 to May 14 and Open – May 15 to Mar. 31.
�� the remainder of the lake
�� Open Apr. 1 to Apr. 16; May 15 to Mar. 31.
�� Apr. 17 to May 14 – CLOSED
