Going to Cow Lake Need some spots

Hey guys and gals I am headed to Cow Lake by rocky mountain house tomorrow for the day. I am fishing with my pregnant girlfriend and would love to get her into some fish. I know that there is rainbows perch and the odd pike in there from my Barry Mitchells but need to know some good spots from shore. Any advice is most appreciated as I have never been there before.Cheers and tight lines to everyone this long weekend and play safe everyone.

Don't waste your time at Cow lake. A few hundred brood stock rainbows on a relatively big lake.....very little chance of catching any and not much chance for pike from shore. If you are fishing from a boat go left of boat launch about 400-500 yards in 5' -8' of water and you'll catch small perch with a small yellow jig or a bobber and some bait.
Not familiar with other lakes around that area for shore fishing.
