We already have coinage in nearly every denomination. Up to about $500

The question is whether they're discontinuing the $5 note.

I don't think so.

Are there any plans to release a $5 circulation coin to replace the $5 bill?

The decision to issue a new circulation coin is the responsibility of the Canadian government. There are currently no plans to make $5 coins or discontinue the $5 bill. The $2 coin was introduced as a cost-saving measure in 1996.

How about a copper $3 and $4 dollar coin from what they can melt down from the obsolete pennies.....Baaaahahahaha.

Nothing surprises me any more....! Well there is one thing and that would be if Turdeau got back into power after all the Liberal antis failed to show at the voting poles.....Hmm, it could happen if the Conservative don't get their poop in a group.
