My Cooey 64B had metal mags. They were the same as the Lakefield and Savage 64B mags.

Western Gun Parts in Edmonton can probably help. Not sure if they will have original ones or not though.

Try JR's Cooey Parts on Facebook. He got me all the parts I needed to fix an old Cooey model 840. Here is his phone # too 780-573-3141

I’ve only dealt with Marcus before he gave everything to JR, but if anyone will have have a Cooey part it’ll be JR.

I bought some replacements at WGP several years ago. I thought that would fix my issue but no. I can't get the 64 to run through a whole magazine.

I have one with the opposite problem, pull the trigger and the whole mag goes until the extractor breaks ?? I've owned a half dozen 64B's and have never seen one with a plastic mag.

Could be a collectable found this on Wicki

The "64 series" has sold under [combination of manufacturers' names listed above] [62, 64 and 954] [one or more letters]. It was also sold as Sears Roebuck & Co. Model 6C. Although often unexpressed in speech, as a "64" it is almost always followed by a single series letter. "64" without a letter indicates the first year of manufacturer only. That version had a plastic magazine. It is considered undesirable. It was followed by the 64B.

Ya I have the original 64 and want to keep it original, thus the plastic mag. I know that Markus and JR don't have any presently. Guess I'll keep lookin

I have aprx 6 of those clips now, but all metal.
Bat, your sear pin is worn, get it replaced or file it more flat.
I had one that blew the whole mag out and I just filed the round off the sear and all good now.
