Awesome gifts this year.

Ancestry DNA kit will finally reveal my true nationality -a subject of concerning debate the last few months.

My son gave me a very cool shaving brush and razor kit, and framed pictures - that and I received a fantastic portable freezer for when we head south on our bird hunts!:sHa_shakeshout:
The best however was that nobody is ons shift off shift and we are able to enjoy Christmas dinner this year.:)

I’ve wanted to learn fly fishing for YEARS... but never really got around to it. Mrs SageValley got me a two day introduction to fly fishing at the McLennan Fly fishing school... I’m the worst fisherman ever, so i should learn a lot!

Omega50, So when you do the DNA search do you submit the results to the government database or is that all done for you??? You know they are after all of us...:fighting0074:

Over the years I have left samples of almost every available body fluid with all sorts of govt agencies. They are welcome to fill their boots.:sHa_shakeshout:

Haha I know that feeling. I could never commit a crime as the govt has all my dna and who knows what else on file from my time in the army.

This old bastard in a red coat brought me a nasty flu right before Xmas. I’m spending the past few days in a horizontal position unable to eat or sleep... nasty stuff!

The lead reindeer finally splurged on a decent TV (credit card rewards redeemed as Best Buy gift cards covered half of it) so he also gets to mount it to the wall tomorrow once he picks up some better fasteners than the ones that come in the swivel-mount kit. Its difficult to hold a cordless drill with these cloven hooves.....

Read the end user agreement with that DNA kit carefully.
If you agree you give them the rights to your and your families DNA information to use as they see fit.
I would not touch it but that's me.

Secret Santa (me?) got me a really nice S&W Model 657, stainless steel N frame in .41 Magnum....older gun and on the rare side, and it has 106 mm barrel so restricted, not prohib. It's verrrry nice!:) Came with original box and papers, cleaning kit still in the plastic, 300 JHP bullets to load (Nosler 210 gr), some Federal ammo, a set of Hornady dies, and a Triple K holster. I like it. A lot!:sHa_shakeshout: I took the original target grips off (a bit FAT for my mitts!) and put on a set of VZ Grips (G10) that I had. I may still opt to put on a pair of Hogue Mono grips, or Pachmayr Decelerator yet though. I plan on loading on the warm side, and it's going to recoil with some snap.

Nice revolver!

I have a .41 mag in the Model 58 with the 4 inch barrel. Does have some snap that is for sure.

Randy I plan on heading down to CNP to fill a turkey tag sooner than later.

You have the Model 58? Those are really hard to come by! Nice!! I have had the 57 for a while with a 6" barrel, but didn't shoot it much as it was too nice, but this Model 657 is going to get some range time! I love the .41 Magnum, how could Elmer Keith, Bill Jordan, and Skeeter Skelton be wrong?? 20 % less recoil than the .44 magnum, 20% more energy than the .357 Magnum. It's that sweet spot....unless you are on the receiving end I suppose.

For those not familiar with the mighty .41 Magnum, this is a great article. The .41 Magnum really should have been named the .41 Keith, in honor of that great shooter.
