I don't know this family personally but my daughter belongs to the same ski club as one of the kids and the story really struck a cord with me/us.

I am not 100% on all the details but from what i have gathered-
On Dec 21, 2017 A single mother of four from Hardisty lost her home to a fire. Heaters were placed under their trailer to stop pipes from freezing. The family went out and when they returned home the place was gone. They lost the family dog in the fire along with all of their presents and belongings.

It sounds like due to recent financial strain the insurance had slipped on the place so this won't be covered.

The one daughter is in a wheelchair and rides in a sit-ski it is really amazing to watch at the hill.

I know times are tight between the economy and Christmas but please guys, if you have anything to give I think this family could really use a hand up.
