Police Lake Report

A buddy and I got down to Police Lake today for the first time since the new regulations have taken place. Fishing was pretty good, with a few lost fish thrown in for good measure due to "Ralphies."

The fish are getting pretty big, with the average size being probably 15" - 16". This was an average fish, but my buddy caught one that was about 18" today too, but no picture. These fish should put on quite a bit more weight over the summer I would think. Leach patterns seemed to be the trick today. Too bad it's always so darn windy down there.

that was a great lake to start with. The new regs are going to produce some big ones. still lots of snow down there. nice catch

We were there last weekend and we lucked out on one day where it was barely windy and almost still at dusk. The next two days were not so nice, had white caps in the afternoon and there were a few slow moving pontoon boats trying to get to the west shore :lol:

Never been there before but got a few nice ones about the same size. Nice place to fish for sure.
