Anyone been to The Narrows/Kinuso on Slave yet?

Planning on going out on Friday. Any reports on the bite or ice thickness?

Plan on driving on with the quad but would appreciate any info available.

Thought I would update this thread with my own report. 24-28” of ice at the Narrows on Slave. Nearly to the top of my flighting on the auger. Lots of trucks driving on, including a one ton with a tidy tank, 6 passengers, pulling a big ice shack.

Ice was sure snapping and cracking a lot though! Fishing was kind of slow. Walleye were biting light and lost lots right at the hole.

Had a slow morning . Met some good people sns2 . Finished strong .

Big Travis saved our bacon. The plastic hypercoil assembly on my Eskimo auger must have been busted by the kids the day before. Get to the lake and go to pull the auger. Not happening. Go to see Big Travis' crew and offer to pay to use their auger. They wouldn't accept money. Great people and we had a great time fishing together.
