Experiencing neck pain. Went to doc and imaging.
Doctor wants to start with some physio. He gave me a couple of suggestions.

Thought that I'd ask here to see if anyone knows a good one. Someone who will do more than spend a few minutes on you and then send you on your way with some exercises.

Located in south Calgary so someone in Calgary or surrounding area is what I'm hoping for.

Thanks in advance

I can't help you out specifically cause I don't live in Calgary, but I started physio on shoulder due to a dislocation. My doctor gave me forms to take to the physio department at the local hospital. Your doctor didn't refer you to someone? I'm sure he would know better than a lot of people.

GO to diverse sports therapy. They are in the north end, but are a total injury rehabilitation office. Yes they will ask you to do your exercises, and will do what is required to help you recover. Assessment, physio, sports rehabilitation, message and ongoing treatment. They specialize in active living injuries.

I had a stiff neck from crashing my Dirt bikes 25+ years ago. The concussions added up. I decided to call it a day. My neck was fairly stiff. Picked up a inversion table. This decompressed the vertabrae. I work it out 2x daily for a couple minutes inverted. My back/neck feel great. The spine is decompressing. I am becoming taller with age. Takes a little while to work. I have utilized for about a year. No going back. Also applied a Tens unit to my neck muscles. The muscles loosen up a bit. Now I have far more mobility in the neck. Good luck.
