Went to the glenmore reservoir on Friday nite and got a pike - that was fun and a first timer for me!

To all the more experienced fishermen on this forum - where would I go for pike, south of calgary for some evening fun, now that I am hooked?

What and where is PCR (saw the term popping up in another thread) and where is a good spot there?

Thanks a lot!

Pine Coulee Reservoir, many good spots there. If from shore try near or under the bridge (HWY 527 crossing water.) Many people fish there. Good luck.

We are regulars there and do fairly well on Pike in the south east corner of the lake. There is a nice bay with weeds and a drop if you are on the water if from the shore just cast of the corner dam. Have caught many and several in the 10lb range as well.

Here is a pic of one from last summer out of the archives. Was about 85 cm on the stick.

Try the lake just east of Calgary on the North side on HWY 22X
