Wondering if any boys on here would have a decent idea of cost to have a new gas fireplace installed in my basement that is currently being developed?
Fireplace would be plain, nothing fancy.
No demo needed, as the basement is a clean start.

Thanks.

Just did a fireplace in my addition. Nothing fancy. Enviro C34 was the model. Around $4000 for the unit, delivery, logs, inserts, blowers and trim for the brick work. Another $1000 for the chimney and accessories and gas connections etc. So all in $5000. It's nice, but not sure if it was all worth it. It's really warm. Even on the lowest setting it heats 2400 sqf no problem. Can run without power (not the blowers) and has a remote thermostat. So if we go away and the power trips it will kick in when temp drops. Hope this info helps

Mine 5 grand +/- but had to redo some stuff after replacing the old one. Also have thermostat, runs if the power goes out, very efficient/cheap to run, would do it again for sure.

From an installers perspective, expect $35-5000. Depending on gas line needed to be ran, fireplace and upgrades chosen, amd coring costs to get vent to outdoors.
