Softball Fastpitch Players Welcome - Calgary

I know there are a lot of athletic people on this forum so why not put this up here.

Our softball fastpitch league in Calgary is welcoming female and male players.

There is a women's division and a men's division.

3 Levels in the Men's division. I am the catcher in Men's A division on the team "The Smoke". :)

If you are interested in playing you can use the "Join Us" link at the top of the page and submit your information. We can find you a team suited for your level. Quite a few anglers and hunters in the league. :)

We are also welcoming new teams to come join us.

That is great to see, I played fastball for many years, starting back in the early 70's. There were something like 15-18 divisions in Edmonton with 5 or 6 teams in each division. Probably 2-3 tournaments within a couple hours of Edmonton almost every weekend.......those were the days.
I live in rural Alberta now and can't even find a softball game to watch...sure miss it.

Not Edmonton!!!!!! Hahahaha. I have battled teams from Edmonton in both men's and mixed fast pitch for years. Hahaha. Great tournaments with excellent rivalries that ended up swapping stories in the beer gardens afterwards and having a blast. haha
