Looking for buying a small boat motor (6hp) for my inflatables for a long period of time now. I know there will be a boat show here in Edmonton soon. Can I buy a motor during the event? Does anyone know? Will I get some discount if buy on site?

The Edmonton Boat show is this March. last year I got a hell of a good deal on my motor Evinrude 60 jet. about a third off, apparently it was cheap to sell it at that price than ship it back....

You mean it is worthy to buy the ticket and go to the show for the motor?

You can definitely get a deal at the show. For small outboards you can't beat yamaha or hondas for reliability.

Last boatshow I went in Spokane they had several “deals” on outboards. It was there I first heard about Tohatsu and that they make all Mercury outboards below 30 hp Evinrusea below 15 and Nissan outboards. I can’t recall the exact pricing but I do remember that Tohatsu at the boat show was significantly cheaper then one of the other big names despite being the same thing.
