sibbald lake/pond

So, me and my dad headed out to sibbald today, started at the lake, never seen it so dead. I'm thinking it hasnt been stocked yet due to low water levels....we went to the pond and started out with bait with no luck then i started chucking a small R&W spoon out and they were hammering it.....bunch of little guys though so obviously the pond has been stocked....

Was there last night and caught a nice little cutty around the 13" mark on a dark green chironomid. Missed a few others

i think mine were all bows or brooks, didnt pay much attention to most of them because they were so small so i tossed them back..lol

hey guys, which lake are you talking about? right next to the campground or the lake feather down the road???

the pond down the road, the lake hasnt been stocked yet, it's dead....hopefully they'll get some fish in there soon

about a half hour from cochrane...if you're coming from calgary just head west on the number 1 until you see a sign for sibbald creek/meadows<cant remember exactly what it says but it does have sibbald on it>, and keep following that road until you see the signs for sibbald lake or sibbald meadows pond.....lake is pointless right now, it's listed to be stocked in the regs but hasnt been yet probably due to water levels..

yes u are rite sibbald none of them pond or lake been stocked yet i would say very soon should be before end of month

somehow i doubt those fish were all natural stock, i caught quite a few really pale ones on tuesday.....i'm thinking the pond has been stocked...
