Yellowknife Ice conditions

Anybody have any idea if the ice is coming off in Yellowknife.We are headed to Thubun Lakes on the 5th of June and were wondering how the ice is.

I was in Yellowknife yesturday. From the air the ice is starting to look quite dark. There are a few large cracks opening up in various places on the lake and a lot of the small pothole lakes are now open.
