Hey guys I'm thinking of entering the SAWT tourney at Traverse and was wondering if there was a campground and how to book a spot?

There is a PP there, Little Bow Provincial Park. A google search will find it. Usually books up quick and I'd bet it's already full. that's really the only spot at TRAVERS.

Can you fish from shore at Little Bow Provincial Park?

Yes, good fishing off the boat dock and from shore in the creek for pike and walleye. Lots of little walleye, don't expect to catch a keeper though.

There is usually a group area set aside for SAWT participants. For better info you'll have to call Little Bow Provincial Camping. Ask them if they are setting an area aside for SAWT members. They have in the past and the year I participated in it. There should be contact numbers on your SAWT form. If not, you can ask Kelly from the Fishing Hole in Calgary (@ 403 291-3688) I believe he is was part of the Organizing Committee for a couple of the Tourneys.
