Boating from Heart Lake up to Logan

Has anyone made this treck or is it even possible? Heart lake north of Lac La Biche to Logan Lake up the river? Is it deep enough? Log jams ect.

My dad did it like 20 years ago, he said there was only 1 beaver dam that you had to watch for. He went up with my grandpa and a 16ft aluminum with a 25 horse, shallow in some places but ran the motor on tilt most of the way.
