Plans changed for August long so looking at heading into sask for camping/fishing. I'm thinking most of the destination lakes will be booked solid and busy so I'm looking to go somewhere within about 3 hours of Lloydminster that maybe won't be super busy but has some good walleye and possibly perch.
Any recommendations?
I've fished in meadow lake park a bit....but that's about it....and as much as I'd love to head to Dore or Tobin or someplace like that.... time probably won't allow it (plus with only 2 days to fish I don't want to chance being stuck on shore)

head up to Buffalo Narrows and stay in the hotel up there, awesome walleye fishing.

Flotten in Meadow Lake Provincial Park used to be pretty good for walleye, but I haven't fished it in years so I can't comment on how it has been lately. There is a campground there and it usually isn't as busy as the Kimball, Greig, Lac Des Isles campgrounds are.

Be aware that there are a lot of rock piles in the middle of the lake on Flotten. Watch your sonar carefully and not a bad idea to use an old prop in case you ding something.

Unfortunately that's a bit too far for the time frame I have....and if I was going that way I'd just stop at Dore as one of my good friends runs the campsite there.
I'll likely end up somewhere in meadow lake park....or just head to pinehurst.
