Hey,
I am looking for any spots near Calgary which contain Prussian Carp. I'd love to add it to my list of fish species. Dewitts pond is basically fished out so that a no go, but I did hear that Two Toed Pond near Bearspaw across from the Home Depot has them. Can anyone confirm this? Or let me know of a different spot that has a lot? Or PM me if you want to keep it quiet.
Thanks!

Go to the canals in Airdrie. I hear they are catching lots there.

Everyone is scared of them (like all Carp) I did find an article from Australia (they are a problem there too) the fish seem to have a similar bone structure as a pike, so basically y-bones. But the big issue according to the article is how quick they die. A slow death on a stringer and left warm for a while and they taste muddy. Catch them, bleed them and put them on ice and it good table fare (what fish isn't)
