Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone knew of any hike to fishing lakes around the Crowsnest Area? I'll be going at the end of August, Easier hikes with a dog, 1-2 hours in at most would be best (catch and release and fly fishing only are okay with me).

Thanks,

Window Mountain Lake sounds like might be one for you to consider. It's a reasonably easy hike, about 1 hour, and you can bring a float tube up if you are into that kind of thing. It's up the road that goes past Allison / Chinook Lake.

Or Phillips lake.... right by the border.

Barnaby is a hike and a half.....

I think there’s still fish in East Scarpe .

Thanks guys, Window Mountain Lake and Phillips Lake sound like a good hike for us. Barnaby, or one of the golden lakes, is on my to do list, but definitely not this trip with the dog and girlfriend haha.
