Fickle Lake Reports????

I was there camping last weekend, caught two hammer handle pike and about 18 walleye in a sat afternoon and evening effort. Trolling jigs and a minnow. Most walleye were about a pound and a half, biggest one was 49 cm, not quite 3 lbs is what we thought it would have weighed, we did measure it. ACA is out there doing a fish study this summer. Pike have to be 63 cm and you can only keep one, walleye are closed, catch and release only. The girl and guy doing the survey say nothing of size is coming out of the lake. We and the kids had fun though. Nice to see the walleye coming back, it wasnt that long ago that they were asking if you even caught a walleye to report it to the edson fish and wildlife office. I doubt there will ever be a limit again on this lake.
