Just checking to see how everybody's luck has been out at Pigeon late day lately. Was just about to winterize the boat, but looks like some decent days next week, figured I best get out a couple more times.

Went out on Thursday to the PP dropoff to fill some A's. 29 fish in total in 5 hours, distributed fairly evenly between A/B/Cs. Bite was on all day, except for about 45 mins. Slightly slower than in May, but not by much. Strangely 0 pike.

Water was extremely green with algae and it was dispersed into the water column, and worse at the launch. Completely coated the trailer and the bunks, had to power wash afterwards. Dock is still in. Conservation officer (Alberta Park's not F&W) was checking everybody and handing out tickets. He was at the launch all day hiding in the trees (entertaining watching those who got creative on measuring or who didn't tag before they got to the dock)

Good luck if you get out. This time of year I would head straight to Crystal Springs reef, should be great there this time of year.

Thanks. Between the algae and cranky wife as I was gone all weekend, looks like I'll be cleaning the garage instead :sad0071:
