Wabamun is famous for swallowing vehicles. Iffy in my books although maybe the lake ice is different now that there isn't warm water discharge from the plant.

The only thing I’d drive on the ice right now is a quad or SxS. I haven’t been on Wabamun this year, but the thickes ice I’ve seen on Lac la nonne is about 11”.

No i haven't been. I just remember seeing a few vehicles that went thru early ice there in past years.

I was out on the 20th by the sailing club and and it was only 6 -8 Inches consistent.
Fishing was also horrible tried different depths, actually found some decent structure, not a thing all morning. Last year same time I'd have hit 50 walleye in the same amount of time.
Anyone having any luck?

I’ve noticed the same thing I’m not seeing nearly as many fish on the camera compared to past years around this time in multiple spots and different depths, but I have noticed the most fish activity seems to be around the 15-23 feet depths.
