Edmonton fishing

Me and a buddy went out all day today searching different trout ponds, we tried nugget lake and the two lakes in Morinville, the F&G and the heritage pond without a single bite all day, we tried dead minnows, live worms, jigs and spinners but nothing worked. Any suggestion for different lakes/ponds that have been producing through the ice? Preferably close to Edmonton on either the north, east, or south as I live in sherwoodpark

Hermitage park pond was close but i dont think it was stocked this year. Have you tried cardiff park pond ?

No but I heard the perch and trout bite dies out as soon as the ice shows up

Hermitage has not been stocked for the last two years. You can check the ACA fish stocking reports for the last two years to verify if you like.
